Your claim will be provided to the appropriate department at our company from the secure database of our website through an encrypted transmission.
We at Cove Risk take our claims handling responsibilities very seriously. Occasionally, a communication may fall through the cracks and be delayed. For lost time, or indemnity, workers’ compensation claims, you should hear from an adjustor no later than three (3) business days, or 72 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.
If you have not received a contact from Cove Risk for lost-time workers’ compensation claims within three (3) business days, or 72 hours, please call the Braintree office at (800) 790-8877, as soon as possible.
Lastly, we take privacy very seriously, as do you. Please take care to avoid use of social security numbers, driver’s license numbers whenever possible in communicating with us once you have our assigned claim number. That number will be communicated to you in our initial acknowledgement letter. Also, please minimize the description of medical conditions or illnesses to that which is pertinent to the specific claim.
